Cigar Reviewed: CAO Gold

Smoked at: Carolinas

This CAO Gold was a 5 x 50. It had a shiny wrapper with the older, colorful band design. It smelled great out of the wrapper with a sweet flavorful cold draw. On light up, I got chocolate, earth, licorice, cream, wood, and an occasional note of dried citrus and fruit. It doesn't settle down on your palette. It offers you notes, and when you go back to look for them, they're gone, replaced by something else. Quite an intriguing smoke with no pepper to speak of. It drew well, and burned slow and evenly. This smoke is very flavorful while not being overpowering.
